This is my 24th year in education! 22 of these years has been in Leander ISD! I'm proud that this is my home! I believe strongly in students receiving the appropriate supports they need in order to make them successful! Seeing students succeed is what I live for! One of my favorite aspects of my job is working with staff and providing them with the tools and supports they need to push students forward! Educators are dreammakers! I have been married 22 years and am a proud parent of a 18 year old boy, and a 9 year old girl. My son, who happens to have autism, helps me keep things real and gives me a parent perspective that provides useful as a special educator. My daughter is always looking for a challenge and reminds me how important it is to bring joy into the classroom! I enjoy dog rescue, kayaking, home improvement, simple country living with the convince of everything in the Leander area! I believe it's important to always be moving forward, with time for reflection on the positives!
