This session highlights adapting the elements of Gracious Space to our classrooms. The intent is to create a peer learning environment where elementary teachers in their first or second year seeking enhancement in their classroom management can share their challenges, successes and learn tools. This session would support novice teachers in creating opportunities for students to demonstrate leadership competencies in educational settings and redefining their ways of engaging students. Consequently, the concept of Gracious Space will not only help shape their students’ own educational experiences, but their peers and beyond.
